To honor master Gao Fu and have an
introduction to Chen style Taiji Quan this workshop will cover the various
aspects of Chen Taiji Quan.
We will start out with history and
background on Chen Taiji Quan and Master Gao's training and her teachers.
We will proceed to the internal work of Taiji focusing on tantien circles,
chan si gong, and the importance of intent. The session will continue with
Master Gao's favorite chan si gong exercises and research the variations
of the 24 and 48 form. This session will end with video clips of Master
Gao from the early 80's to her Seattle demonstration at the Nippon Kan.

Xin Qi Shen Dojo will be offering a series of workshops in memory and
respect to Dale sensei's teachers.
Each workshop will include the teacher's history and stories, practice of
their forms or partner work, and end with watching a DVD of them
demonstrating or teaching.
